Amber jewelry from Gdansk, design projects from Gdynia and 4 tons of Sopot beach sand – all these things will go to Milan where on June 1 the Pomeranian Week is beginning in the Polish Pavilion.
Pomorskie, as the first Polish voivodeship, is going to be presented at the most prestigious World Exhibition. The region will be a host of the Polish Pavilion on June 1-7. During the whole week Pomorskie will present its tourism potential and economic development. It is going to encourage the Italians and other visitors to spend their holidays there and run a business. In fact, the flight from Gdansk to Milan, or back, takes only two hours...
All the hotels, guests houses, sights, entertainment and cultural attractions from the region, which are available all year round in Pomorskie, will be shown at the EXPO fair during the tourism seminar on Wednesday, June 3. Pomeranian Regional Tourist Organization – the organizer of the seminar, wants to present comprehensive coverage of the entire region establishing direct business relations at the same time. Therefore, they invite for the meeting Italian tour operators, travel agencies, travel organizers, as well as the journalists.
To cooperate you need to know each other and the EXPO fair gives such opportunities. Pomeranian and Italian entrepreneurs and investors will take part in the business brokerage event on June 4. During the meeting devoted to the economic potential of the region, representatives of Pomeranian companies will have the opportunity to talk in B2B formula with Italian customers from new technology, architecture, maritime and logistic industries. On the next day, Pomeranian Business Gala is going to take place at the premises of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Milan.
A cooperative effort of Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot, the Pomeranian Week partners, will provide a lot of excitement in the Polish Pavilion. Gdansk will present an interesting amber exhibition. Gdynia has prepared “Taste of an object” - the exposure of contemporary design and its culinary inspirations. Sopot, which is responsible for the arrangement of the exterior zone (outside the pavilion), invites all the visitors to the Sopot beach. From morning till evening visitors will be able to relax on the real sand from the coast and listen to the club music straight from the Tricity.
You have to be there

I am convinced it is a perfect destination for Pomeranian entrepreneurs, so we see the potential of tangible benefits for Pomorskie in our participation at the Exhibition. – adds Anna Golec.
The project leader is the Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
